Question: How do i get 80s punk fashion?

My friend is having a decade party and i chose 80's Punk. Can somebody help me with the style? (eg fishnets? neon? headphones?)

Punk...hmm....well, first off I'd go with skinny jeans (multi-coloured, like you can get at Hot Topic or just plain black ones), neon could be good, if you're going as punk then try the colors purple/ viollette, maybe teal or aqua, hot pink and possibly green yellow or orange. I'm not sure about fishnets, but you could give it a shot... Converse could be good, perhaps? Sorry If I'm not helping, I had a 60's party last year in school and I went hippie but...eh sorry good luck finding someone better than me ^^

Try to google up some pictures from 80's punk rock bands. A good example would be The Ramones or The Sex Pistols. You can wear some dark skinny jeans ripped a little here and there, some vans or converse dirty them up a little. Probably a black or neutral tee shirt a leather jacket. Mess up your hair a little bit and a bandana. Hope this helps.
